In order to make its various sites about Belgian military heritage more attractive, the War Heritage Institute (WHI) modified its rates policy and introduces both new formulas and new rates.

As of January 1, 2019, you can visit the various War Heritage Institute sites with a single multi-site ticket and/or a multi-site subscription. You can in that way visit six sites at attractive rates. More information here

From January 29 till March 30, 2019 the War Heritage Institute welcomes the Polish travelling exhibition Armoured Wings. Created in Warsaw and presented in Gdansk, it now arrives in Belgium! The visitor will discover the history of General Maczek’s Polish 1starmoured division through both sound bites and images. The exhibition was put together in the framework of the 75thanniversary of the liberation of Belgium upon initiative of the Flemish government, the Polish embassy in Belgium and the non-profit organization “Eerste Poolse Pantserdivisie België”.

Feeling the winter blues? Museum Night Fever tickets might then just be the remedy you need! The capital will indeed once again come down with its annual museum fever on Saturday February 23. True to habit, no less than 30 Brussels museums will keep the midnight oil burning (until 1 a.m.) for the twelfth edition of this unique event.

The exhibition is based on archives belonging to the Ministry of Transport and illustrates the lives and times of Belgian seamen during the First World War. Through a joint operation with the non-profit organisation "Les Amis du Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace" the visitor can also discover what happened in the skies.
